Eggless Spongy Sooji Cake in Idli Maker:
Sooji – 1 cup
Curd – 1/2 cup
Milk – 1/2 cup
Desi khand -1/2 cup
Melted Ghee – 1/4 th cup
Baking powder – 1 tsp
Baking soda – 1/2 tsp
Vanilla essence – 1/2tsp
Mix colored cherry - 1/2 cup
Take a big glass bowl. Add sooji and curd. Mix it. Add milk, mix it well. Add desi khand now. After proper mixing, keep it aside for 15 – 20 minutes.
In between prepare the baking bowl. Grease it with refined oil. At the bottom of the bowl place a butter paper.
After 20 minutes place the Idli Maker on the gas stove. Keep a net in the Idli maker. Flame should be at its minimum.
Now add cherry, melted ghee in the batter. Mix it well. Add baking powder, baking soda in it. Mix it gently. Now add vanilla essence. Mix it properly.
Immediately put the bowl on the net. Bake it for 40 to 50 minute.
After 40 minutes check it with a tooth pick. If tooth pick comes out clean it means cake is ready.
